ANNOUNCED NUMBERS OF MEDICAL MEETINGS IN 2018

In 2018 the Continued Medical education is going to be enriched with few international medical congresses.

The Macedonian Association of Orthopaedics and Traumatology – MAOT will open the season with its 4^th Congress with international participaton , which will be held from 26^th to 29^th April, 2018. The Congress will take place in Hotel “Metropol” in Ohrid, Republic of Macedonia. The main topics covered on this congress will be: upper extremity degenerative diseases and injuries, lower extremity degenerative diseases and injuries, degenerative changes and injuries in the spine, children’s orthopaedics, sport’s injuries and tumors of the musculoskeletal system.

The 6^th Congress with international participation in organization of the Macedonian Microbiological Society – MMS will take place from May 30^th to June 2^nd, 2018, in Hotel “Metropol” in Ohrid. The focus topics on this congress will be: medical bacteriology, virology, parasitology, mykology, antimicrobial agents and antimicrobial resistance, nocosomial infections and their control, veterinary microbiology and zoonoses, biotechnology and industrial microbiology, laboratory methods and new technology in microbiology, immunology of infectious diseases and vaccines, microbiology and food safety, ecological microbiology, and nanomicrobiology.

The Macedonian Society of Nephrology, Dialysis, Transplantation and Artificial Organs and The International Society for Blood Purification – ISBP are organizers of the 36^th World Congress with international participation. This international congress will be held from 6^th to 9^th of September, 2018, in MASA (Macedonian Academy of Sciences and Arts), in Skopje. Topics of the Congress will be: extracorporal blood purification – Advantages; extracorporal blood purification – Limitations; peritoneal dialysis and survival in long-term dialysis.

Follows the 4^th Congress, with international participation, of the Macedonain Society of Alergy and Clinical Immunology – MSACI, which also will be held in Hotel „Metropol“ in our city of congresses, Ohrid, from 28^th to 30^th September, 2018. The main topics of this scientific event will be: asthma, rhinitis, immunotherapy, pediatric allergic diseases, urticaria, atopic dermatitis, immune dermatoses, nutritive allergies, drug allergies, occupational allergic diseases, allergic diseases of the eyes, antibiotics and probiotics, immunological diseases etc.

The Macedonian Society of Medical Biochemistry and Laboratory Medicine – MSMBLM is organizer of the 26^th Balkan Clinical Laboratory Federation (BCLF) Meeting, and the 6^th National Congress, which will be held from 3^rd to 5^th, October, 2018, in Hotel “Aleksandar Palace”, Skopje. This is the forth time for Macedonia to be in the role of a BCLF Congress host.

In October, from 25^th to 28^th, in Hotel “Drim” in Struga, will take place The Congress, with international participation, of the Doctors Albanians in Macedonia.

And last, but not least, The Macedonian Society of Urology announced the First Balkan Congress of Urologists, which will take place from 8^th to 11^th November, 2018, in MASA.
